Peace of mind wherever you go If you’re planning a trip abroad and need vaccinations to be able to travel, then please book an appointment at our Travel Clinic. We are an approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, and offer a comprehensive foreign travel immunisation service, including for Yellow Fever.
Ideally, you should arrange an appointment at least six weeks before travelling as some vaccinations require a course of three separate injections. If you are not sure whether you will need vaccinations where you will be travelling, we can advise you.
We’ve put together an overview of the travel immunisations we offer below as a guide to what you might need and when.
How can I find out what vaccinations I might need before I travel?
If you think you might need vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please complete our online Travel Health Questionnaire. Please provide as much information as possible, including which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting, to determine what vaccinations are required.
Once we have this information, we will contact you to inform you of vaccinations that may be required and to arrange the necessary appointments with a practice nurse.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:
- Europe & Russia
- North America
- Central America
- South America
- Middle East
- Central Asia
- East Asia
- Australasia and Pacific
It is important that you complete the Travel Health Questionnaire at least eight to ten weeks before you travel as certain vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
